The research profile of the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science is based on three main areas of research:
- Basic and clinical research examines the theoretical foundations of psychotherapy and the relationship between therapeutic processes and their outcomes.
- The cultural studies research focus provides a broad cultural, social and historical framework for understanding current issues in mental health.
- Training research focuses on the effectiveness and further development of psychotherapy training programmes.
