Linz Institute for Basic and Methodological Research
The Linz Institute for Basic and Methodological Research in Psychotherapy Science (LIGA) is a research institute of SFU’s Faculty of Psychotherapy Science and organises, documents and communicates the research achievements of the Linz Department of Psychotherapy Science. The research projects of the Institute are assigned to specific Research Labs and work towards the research foci of the Linz Department. The research profile of the Institute is closely linked to the research lines of SFU.
Team members of the department work on the research projects together with students, external lecturers and researchers affiliated to the department. The ongoing research results not only find their way into various publications of the Institute and the individual project leaders and staff, but also into the various formats of the Linz Department, especially within the framework of research-based teaching in the courses of the study programme offered in Linz, as well as in the Linz lecture series and various additional offers of the Department and the Outpatient Clinic.
